The Opportunity

In this role, you will work with our innovative products PaymentIQ. You will play a key role in the development of our FinTech products, and together with us, you will continue to develop our outstanding and flexible payment systems.

In Worldline, we are developing payment systems for global enterprise clients, and provide payment solutions from all around the world, meeting the highest requirements on availability, performance, security, and flexibility. Working in our team, you will experience both operational freedom and the spirit of a startup at the same time working in a big organization.

Job Description and responsibilities

You are going to be responsible for an end-to-end payment engine, which processes more than 1 million transactions a day, designing, implementing, maintaining, and verifying new features as well as deploying them into production.

• Deliver tactical and strategic improvements to large-scale Java\Spring based products.
• Design, develop and test Java-based solutions using Spring frameworks, in AWS containerized environment.
• Maintain and update all existing server applications.
• Translate software requirements into maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks.
• Be responsible for the full product lifecycle: design, development, quality, deployment, maintenance, and support. You build it and you run it.
• Keep up with standard methodologies for developing applications.

Java, Spring framework, Kafka, Elastic Search, SQL, Rest/JSON, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, and Linux.

Skills we cannot do without:

• Demonstrable experience in Java development, with strong coding ability in Java/Spring.
• MSc or BSc in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Proficient level in the English language.
• A love for developing software and solving difficult problems creatively and effectively with simple solutions.
• Ability to support your application when running (DevOps).
• Experience in JavaScript, JSON, CSS, and HTML

Skills we would like

• Previous experience in the payment industry.
• Experience in high transactional scalable systems.
• Experience with working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Working skills in DB Schema design and SQL development.
• Previous experience in React or VueJS,
• Experience in other languages is meriting.
