DevOps Engineer – Battery Competence Center

We are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer who has a passion within the field of software engineering.

The position can be based in Huskvarna or Jonsered.

Your role

You will be a part of our team that develop embedded software for Husqvarna batteries. The batteries are used in the whole range of products and the organizational aim is to bring intelligent power to future products.

In this key role you will be an enabler for the team and help to continue to improve our process, methods and tools to enable shorter time to market with high quality products. We are a delivery unit so we work in all phases from concept to industrialization in factory. The team is multi-site and multi-national and are located in both Sweden and Germany. We have an entrepreneurial spirit but the advantages of the structure from a large company.

The main responsibility will be the process methods and tools for software development and your main tasks will be to develop and maintain the tool chain built on Jenkins and Azure DevOps. The team work within the whole spectra of software engineering - Specification, Design, Implementation, Test and Documentation. The code is written in C and the test cases in C++.

About you

To fit in this role you should have the following qualifications;

· M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Electronics, Applied Physics or

Mechatronics.

· A Minimum of 5-years of experience in the following areas;

o Tool chain development

o Work- / Release flow

o Jenkins

o Azure DevOps

o GIT

o C/C++

o Python

o Unit tests

· Proficiency in English is a must.

· Proficiency in Swedish is meritorious.
