At Normative we are creating the norm for carbon accounting by providing intelligence to companies to reduce their climate footprint. Our Tech team constantly improves on the world’s first emissions accounting engine. Every improvement we make directly contributes to helping companies reach net zero emissions.

The role
You’ll join our growing engineering team as a frontend engineer to succeed together in the fight against climate change. You’ll have an opportunity to grow professionally and improve the client-side of our products and overall the technical processes and approaches in the team. We use Angular on the client, Typescript and Python on the server, and tools like CodeClimate, CodeShip, Sentury, etc for CI/CD.

What you will do:
- Together with other engineers accurately transform business needs into technical requirements

- Make sure you understand not only what should be done but also why this should be done

- Focus on achieving goals as a team together with other engineers

- Optimize the journey from the technical perspective for efficient delivery and keep in mind future features, scalability, and maintenance

- Contribute to quality, and engage in improving engineering practices and processes together with your team

- Perform code review and initiate discussions to find the best technical approaches

- Share your knowledge, and learn together with your teammates

Location
We operate with a hybrid remote model with an office in Stockholm. This means you can be based remotely within Sweden or Denmark, but we do want to meet regularly/monthly and be able to do that in a climate-friendly way.

The process
We adopt a continuous selection process, so make sure to apply as soon as possible! Also - no need to attach a CV or cover letter in your application. We use selection questions and psychometric tests to create a more fair and unbiased recruitment process. Normative handles sensitive financial data and we will therefore conduct a background check before signing any candidate.
