Assignment
We are looking for the two best- in- class experienced Software Automation Engineers to our client in Varberg. The position will either involve ownership of the development and maintenance of our client automated test infrastructure, or share in that responsibility with other senior test automation engineers. The position will also involve development of automated tests, and test tools as required for use by the larger QA group.
Experis IT will be your employer and you will work as a consultant at our client. This assignment will start as soon as possible and will be ongoing.
Your key Responsibilities will be:
•Develop new automated test cases, as well as incorporate tests created by others into the common automation framework
•Maintain and update existing automated tests within the framework
•Port tools/tests that have been written outside the framework into the common automation framework
•Assist with field projects from time to time, that may require automation and/or manual testing
•Assist with general manual testing from time to time, as required
•Identify areas for automation, collect test data requirements, develop new test metrics and techniques to maximize testing efficiency and scalability
•Develop, maintain and execute automated testing tools for functional, acceptance, integration, regression, system and performance testing
Qualifications/Requirements
•BSc or Master’s Degree in Computer Science
•At least 1 year experience being an automation engineer
•Good and demonstrable Python skills
•Knowledge of SQL and different web-frameworks(example Django)
•Good networking knowledge (TCP/IP and Layer 7 applications, other communication protocols in LAN/WAN environments; familiar with using routers, switches and firewalls)
•Networking tool familiarity (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc)
•Experienced Linux admin knowledge
•Strong written and verbal communication skills. English is our corporate language, so it’s important
•Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
•Attitude: We imagine you have strong opinions about tech, which is a good thing. We still expect that you’ll play well with others.
