TECHNOLOGY ARCHITECT- Stockholm /Remote

We are looking for a Technology Architect on behalf of one of our clients.

We are looking for a talented and dedicated leader to join the newly formed team, the primary focus of which is to build and run the central inventory and reservation services.

The Technology Architect works closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and the development team, and acts as the Reservation Service's representative in technical engagements.

You are an advocate for cutting-edge domain and event-driven architecture and are well-connected within the group's global community of architects.

WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO:

As a Technology Architect, you will collaborate with colleagues in agile delivery teams. As a domain driven design enthusiast, you will use your excellent facilitation and solicitation skills, as well as your strong DevSecOps mindset, to effectively engage with teams, developing a strong understanding of their context and the challenges they face.

You will strengthen the team's capability by constantly looking for new ways to improve the quality of solutions, ensuring that project/product technical options are considered, and recommended approaches are clearly designed with valuable solutions.

You are in charge of the Reservation Service architecture roadmap and will drive maturity improvements in this area by implementing the most recent industry trends.

You identify and implement architectural improvement practises in an agile environment, and you map the gap between the current state and the desired state to continuously innovate IT processes and adapt them to market trends. You ensure that technical implementation is in accordance with the enterprise and solution architectures, as well as the organization's objectives. In addition to maintaining a bird's-eye view of your technology landscape, you ensure the correct implementation of software development components, standards, design principles, and patterns, as well as code standards and quality.

You keep a strong understanding of the big picture by staying up to date on the latest innovations, technologies, patterns, and practises in the field of delivering cloud native scalable solutions. You plan ahead of time and understand the overall business context and strategy, which you will use to shape the emergent architecture of the Reservation Service.

You apply your extensive knowledge to assist teams in improving their expertise in implementing technical capabilities that meet the ever-changing business needs. You are never preachy or dogmatic, but you are always clear and vocal about your beliefs. You are always striving for technical excellence, team ownership, and self-organization. You assist the team in balancing tactical solutions with long-term platform sustainability and maintainability.

You and your colleagues will conduct research, evaluate, and test new processes and tools, as well as assist teams in their effective use. You work closely with Technology Leads to improve our overall technical capabilities and DevSecOps maturity across all teams, assisting in the achievement of agreed-upon OKRs/goals at the team and domain levels. You contribute to the domain's technology strategy and objectives, as well as the development of new tools and techniques to improve the domain's required capabilities.

You are an active participant in the global architectural community. You enjoy learning and acquiring new skills, as well as teaching others. You aren't afraid to get your hands dirty and work directly with teams; you despise being in an ivory tower.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING:

Domain driven design thought leader, active member of global architecture communities

An accomplished architect and genuine servant leader with a passion for technology, solution architecture, and design.

Proven track record of creating architecture blueprints and optimising them to drive development and innovation

Competence in translating business vision into viable technical strategies and communicating such strategies to business stakeholders.

Experience working in an agile environment and the ability to integrate architecture practises into an agile way of working Excellent communicator and facilitator at ease working across organisational and market boundaries and managing senior stakeholders Capable of disagreeing while remaining aligned

Experience with cloud technology, design patterns, microservices, CI/CD, and DevSecOps is required.
