The Portfolio Management Office at the Elekta Neuroscience and Radiosurgery Solution area is recruiting a member to act as Release Project Manager. Responsibilities include coordination between numerous functions, not always co-located and execution of releases from a newly started development program in a scaled agile environment. The program develops system-wide functionality for the Leksell GammaKnife with high ambitions in release cycle, content and compliance to processes. This is a permanent position.

The position is based at the Portfolio Management Office at the Research and Development department at the Elekta Neuroscience and Radiosurgery solution area. The R&D department consists today of about 85 people in Stockholm. Your closest team consists of an additional Release Project Manager, a Release Train Engineer and the manager of the Portfolio Management Office. Elekta’s office is located in the Stockholm City centre.

As Release Project Manager you are to plan, coordinate and execute short and effective release projects, releasing software and hardware functionality from a development program based on the Scaled Agile Framework. The work environment is characterized by informality and focuses on collaboration, getting your release projects to the finishing line on time and on constant improvement.

You plan, coordinate and execute your release projects from start to finish. Furthermore you ensure a high level of communication with partners and stakeholders and you report and communicate plans and progress to management. Your contact area is wide and you collaborate with many functions within the company, both locally and globally.

Din bakgrund

We believe you have a MSc or BSc in Engineering or equivalent. Preferably, you have at least five years of experience from a Project Managing or similar role where you have been running projects from start to finish.

Previous experiences from releasing complex systems to market is highly valued as is cross functional collaboration and not least experiences from similar activities in an agile context. Experience from product development within medtech is an advantage. This function will report periodically to the NRS program steering group and will work closely with research and development, strategic portfolio management, quality assurance, installed base management and commercialization.

You have extraordinarily good English, and preferably at least a basic knowledge of Swedish.
