Back-end Developer to a fast-growing medical technology company

With the digitalisation of healthcare, there is a large increase in the demand for self-tests that can be conducted anywhere and at anytime. Being located at the leading edge of developing high-quality diagnostic self-tests, we at FindOut Diagnostic want to meet this demand. With a drop of blood, an immunoassay lateral flow test, and the App, individuals can get access to more health data than ever before.

We are getting closer to launching our first self-test and therefore searching for a Backend Developer with the aim of being responsible for the forthcoming development!

What will you do?

Initially, you will focus on reading into the product as well as securing knowledge on the current tech-stack. This will include briefing with the current development team as the transition from outsourced to in-house development takes place. Our stack includes languages and frameworks such as Kubernetes, TypeScript, Node.Js, Docker, PostgreSQL and REST Api to name a few.

As our Backend Developer, you will take full ownership of the backend development of our products, whilst being supported by a Software Manager and a few front-end developers. This is followed by exciting opportunities within the development of new features and algorithm functionality. Managing the backend hosting at SafeSpring and Google Cloud will also be a key part of the role.

The development of the product is complying with current medical regulations and will require documentation during the design- and development phases. A great learning place for medical device development!

We think that you have:

• 3-5 years of experience within Backend Development
• Excellent knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, TypeScript, Node.Js and PostgreSQL
• Expertise in REST-APIs and integrations

We would also love to see experience in:

• Microservice architecture
• CI/CD processes and pipelines
• Medical applications and regulatory requirements
• Cloud Services such as GCP, Azure or AWS
