About the role
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our Finance Team in Stockholm. Going forward we need to build new services, scale existing services, simplify where we can and optimize where needed while continuing to operate with high demands on availability and quality.

In this role you will focus on designing and implementing pricing logic and new services around this, as well as providing financial reports to our business units. Working closely with product stakeholders, you will help to translate business requirements and KPIs into technical tasks to implement in services and maintain them. You will have plenty of influence over design and implementation decisions to scale our services to new heights

We are an international team so Swedish is not a requirement if you are fluent in English.

About you
You have previously worked with large-scale applications in cross-functional teams and are well-versed in the agile process. You have a curious mind passionate about data and the stories behind it. You pay great attention to detail and consider quality and clean code mindset as fundamental values. You care about providing a great end-user experience. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and taking initiative. You can drive discussions and have strong communicative skills.

Desired skills

- At least 3 years of professional software engineering and programming expertise

- Steady foundation in coding in Java and fluency with SQL

- At least a couple of years working with financial reporting and invoicing data

- Skilled in one or several cloud-based backend technologies

- Experienced using microservice architectures

- A strong analytical problem solver and comfortable tackling loosely defined problems

- Experienced in working with an agile development methodology

- Experience with Kubernetes
