The company uses various tools to deliver the best possible quality, for example everything from classic models, artificial intelligence, machine learning and big data. Datavärde has a broad competence in Data Science but works mainly with customers in the industrial, marine and energy sectors. They are now looking for a new employee who wants to be part of their data analysis journey!

Tasks and responsibilities:

As a Data Scientist, you will be part of a dedicated team of five employees, that works with solving real problems based on business logic and create customer value with the help of computer science. You work with handling large amounts of data from the company's customers, which means analytical and technical work to create decision support and a basis for efficiency. You handle the large amount of data in the company's specialized databases and work with various problems at the level of detail. In addition, you are responsible for producing different types of forecasting and optimization problems that include many variables with influencing sources and signals. Through your expertise, you contribute to the development of Datavärde and their customers. You work with developing methodology and technology for advanced analysis and developing and applying machine learning algorithms. Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:

• For this position you have a relevant University degree, M.Sc. within Data Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent experience
• Experience in one or more of the following programming languages; Python, Java, C++ or C#
• Meritorious with experience within software development, data and machine learning
• Fluent English both in speech and writing, Swedish is meritorious

As a person, you are analytically inclined and can quickly create an understanding of tasks and see a way forward. You have a logical approach, prefer to trust data and approach problems from a scientific and analytical perspective. You have the interest and the ability to immerse yourself in complex problems. In addition, you strive to help your customers in a solution-oriented way and can solve questions without given answers. You are careful and attentive to details where you discover things that others often miss. Finally, you are flexible in your way of working and you can easily adapt to new situations.
