We created the function Lighthouse around two years ago, Lighthouse is a group of 40 ambitious individuals with broad experience and technical skills such as developers, data scientists, azure cloud engineers, business analysts and much more. We believe in teamwork, different perspectives and diversity and know that this is how we create the best solutions.

Since 2020 we have implemented the SAFe methodology in a KPMG way to support our initiatives on a company level and focus our deliveries on optimizing the quality, speed and value delivered. You will be a part our continuously work of both educating us and improving our ways of working.

Role description

You will work with extraordinary people who are courageous about their ideas in supporting clients to meet and exceed their potential. You will:

· Design and deliver data platform and solutions in Microsoft Azure

· Design and integrate Azure services in a manner which allows the management and provision of data in a secure and reliable manner

· Deliver and present Proofs of Concept variants to prospective customers

· Requirements analysis and production of specifications

· Work closely with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure high quality access to and supply of specified data

· Work within a project management/agile delivery methodology in a leading role as part of a wider team

· Deal with other stakeholders/end users in the software development lifecycle – PMs, BAs, testing etc.

· Lead Architecture reviews to determine if new products and solutions comply with the agreed enterprise cloud architecture

Basic qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline, and/or 5+ years of equivalent work experience

· A strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and provided services (AKS, Blob storage account, Azure SQL Database/Data warehouse, Databricks, CosmosDB, Azure Data Factory, App Service, Logic App, Azure Function App, IAM)

· Experience on architecting and designing end to end services on Cloud (IAAS, PAAS, SAAS) for customers

· Architecting solutions of moving workloads from on premise to various cloud platforms

Preferred qualifications:

· Working knowledge of software development practices and technologies highly desired

· Azure certification or exam, E.g Exam AZ-300, AZ-301 or Solution Architect Expert

We believe that you have well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an Agile technical project team and procedures (e.g. Scrum); working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a positive attitude. We think that you have the ability to work in a collaborative development environment contributing to the team in a positive manner to reach the best solution. Good communication is a must, due to situations where you need to explain complex problems to non-technical team members. Good level of (spoken and written) English and/or Swedish is a requirement. Last but not least, we think that you have an interest in transforming business requirements into technical design.

The position could be based either in Stockholm or Gothenburg.
