The client is looking for Software Engineers who want to work in a modern organization, where agility, automation and cloud are non-negotiables. You will play an important role in setting the foundation and creating the future of the organization.

Work tasks:

- you will work in close collaboration in an agile team to design, develop and iterate our next generation data- and analytics-solution with focus on enabling smart analyst self-service capabilities
- develop different reusable technical enablement to speed up Advanced analytics product development
- leverage the understanding of software architecture and software design-patterns to write scalable, maintainable, well-designed and future-proof cloud-based capabilities

Mandatory competence and experience:

- An experienced software developer (2+ years) with strong mindset of building scalable and high-quality software products in the cloud. You understand the challenge of design and implementation of large scale distributed systems
- Passionate about data in the cloud technology, especially data warehousing in the cloud would be a big plus
- Excellent in programming in Python. Not only familiar with language itself, but also fully aware of best practices, code structure, design patterns, development workflow, testing etc.
- You passionately test your code and follow test-driven development
- Hands on experience in DevOps and automate software development process, like familiarity with tools like Terraform, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes, etc.
- You probably have developed highly scalable modern federated query services on one of the for mentioned clouds previously, or is at least interested, and have been introduced to the concept of Lake House
- A great team player in an Agile team setup, willing to take on different kinds of tasks to meet sprint commitment and to reach our goals together
- 1+ years’ experience of designing, development and testing in the field of Data & Analytics in the cloud
- Experience in cloud stack development related to data pipelines and data API’s in at least one of the big 3 (Azure, GCP, AWS)
- Experience in Big Data technologies (e.g. Spark)
- Experience in Big Data file formats (e.g. Parquet/Avro)
- Solid understanding of Data Modeling. Experience in modeling and developing tabular cubes, SSAS. Experience also in composite models is a bonus
- Experiences in working with Power BI is a bonus
- Experience from successful delivery of high-quality outcomes
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
