UI Designer

During the time when our present UI Designer is on Parental leave we are looking to fill her position for a year while she is away - with the possibility of an extension.

If so, then this is the position for you. We are looking for a UI Designer to join the Global Online Solutions team responsible for driving sales and brand awareness in our online channels, globally. In the role you will get the opportunity to work in a global branded consumer goods company and play an important role in the expansion of our online sales channels. You will work with a great team of colleagues in a dynamic and pragmatic workplace.

About the Position

As UI Designer you will be part of the Global Online Solutions team. The team drives the design and development of Thule Group’s online digital platforms. We are now looking for an UI Designer with excellent design and craft skills to help create and execute our visual communications, interface and interaction design across digital platforms (mobile, web, app etc.). You have creative height, yet the ability to act within the design identity and frames given by brand guidelines.

In your role as a UI Designer your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure consistency in our brand identity and visual communication
• Co-create and communicate user-friendly designs through user flows, wireframes and concepts
• Translate high-level requirements into intuitive and functional designs
• Create visual concepts that are in-line with our brand guidelines
• Web optimize assets and image editing
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Help guide our developers in how to implement the design
• Take part in testing new features and functions before launch
• Work in close collaboration with our UX designer, the Performance marketing and Online content teams

About you

We expect that you have proven work experience as a UI Designer and can showcase this with a strong portfolio. You must have excellent skills in creating wireframes and mockups and you can work creatively and efficiently. You are prestigeless and a team player who enjoy the collaborative process that makes good design. You enjoy variation and can work with conceptual design as well as image editing. We expect you to:

• Have excellent knowledge and proven experience working in prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Invision etc.)
• Stay up to date with latest design and technology trends
• Be passionate and proficient in user-centered design methodologies and design thinking
• Are proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
• Have experience in responsive- and cross browser/device design
• Effectively manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time
• Contribute to and manage styleguides, UI Kits and design systems
• Are fluent in verbal and written English
