Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Monitoring trends in the area of Artificial Intelligence
- Scouting on trending industry fairs and conferences
- Leading explorative initiatives in this domain
- Implementing new technologies on VCE machines
- Guarantee smooth transfer to market introduction
- Creating an academia network in this area
- Supervising Student- and Thesis workers
- Keep connected to Volvo Group efforts
- Close collaboration with the research Programs
Required competencies, personal skills and experience
- Preferably PHD degree computer sciences
- Profound knowledge of programming, e.g. Matlab, Phyton, C/C++
- Knowledge in machine learning, reinforcement learning, computational vision, AI search
- Ability to educate colleagues (teaching experience)
- Relevant experience with construction equipment
- Knowledge in Tensorflow, GIT and similar
- Experience in public funding acquisition
- Analytic skills working with big data
- Fluent in English (verbally and written)
- Ability to work in a cross-functional and global environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Evaluation of new concepts
- Positive attitude (“let’s do it” mentality)
