This Opportunity
Delphi Electronics and Safety development office in Gothenburg (former Mecel) specialize in software and systems development and function ownership within the Active Safety domain. The need for Active Safety products is rapidly growing and in order to manage projects and deliver products to all European OEMs, Delphi is now hiring over 10 experts in this specific area.

As a Sr Software Engineer you will be working with embedded software development. This includes various sorts of software development, including applications, drivers, communication protocols, taskforce activities, optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging. You will be working in distributed project teams in an agile environment. Previous experience of the automotive industry will be necessary in this role as well as experience working with Autosar.

Your task
• Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems
• Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
• Review code and design
• Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
• Integration of software modules
• Work with new AUTOSAR configuration and modify existing configuration
• Agile software developement, e.g. SCRUM
• Interact with customers, systems team, IT&V and project management
• Build scripts and build environment
• Implementation of a quality software (SPICE; Functional Safety)

Your skills
• Masters of Science E/D/IT/Z or similar education level
• 5-10 years of experience of the Automotive Industry
• Documented knowledge of Automotive SPICE
• Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets
• Experience with C/C++ programming, object oriented development
• Proven experience in embedded systems design
• Good understanding of configuration of AUTOSAR
• Experience working with debugging of embedded systems
• Proficient with communication protocols e.g. CAN, MOST, Flexray
• Knowledge of Funtional safety
• Experience working with SPICE
• Familiarity with Active Safety
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment
• Experience of GIT, Gerritt, Jenkins, Jira or equivalent
• Previous experience working with active safety systems, Agile methodology and/or MATLAB are good to have
• Experience working in a structured manner with processes, documentation, etc.
