Responsibilities

As an Embedded Software Developer, you will be part of a creative team, designing and creating innovative technology within IoT. A focus area for this role will be deployment, delivery, and packaging of LumenRadio’s embedded software. You will also be involved in developing software for managing IoT networks and systems. At LumenRadio, all developers have a broad area of responsibilities for their products. This includes: System Design, Development, Test, Certification, Maintenance and User support. Together with the team you will work according to our processes, Agile/Scrum and lead improvement work. Some concrete examples of expectations for the role are:

Develop embedded C code for IoT applications (RTOS and Linux environments)
Design and implement deployment tools and processes
Maintain Linux software in APT repositories
Develop CI/CD
Break down requirements into tasks and subtasks
Test and secure high-quality products
Set tools, tool chains and development environment

Qualifications

To make the story of LumenRadio successful we believe that you have

3 years of experience in embedded development (C)
Development experience with embedded Linux and ARM architectures as target environment
Maintained and distributed Linux software
Experience in Scrum/Agile
A bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)
Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

In this position, we also believe that you would benefit from experience in

Networking know-how (preferably wireless, IoT)
Experience with multiple programming languages (Java, Rust, C++, etc).
An interest in electronics
A leading role, and/or greater knowledge within Scrum/Agile
A master's degree in relevant field e.g Electrical Engineering
