We’ve just hit a growth spurt and are on the lookout for a SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) to join our motley crew of curious, growth minded and all around nice people.

About the role

To support the further growth of Zimpler we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our platform team as a SRE engineer. Your main objective will be to help move Zimpler's platform and infrastructure to the next level.

Things you’ll be responsible for

• Setup new monitoring, dashboard and alerts
• Help devs with troubleshooting
• Perform upgrades, maintenance and general improvements
• Improve our distributed tracing tools
• Add instrumentation to various parts of our system
• Improve network resilience (istio)
• Help move the platform forward with the rest of the platform team

Things you are really good at

• Extensive knowledge of programming or SRE experience
• Knowledge of kubernetes & general cloud infrastructure
• Enjoy problem-solving
• Big on teamwork and mutual trust

• Modern micro-service architecture
• Infra on AWS (RDS, EKS, S3…)
• Platform built on Kubernetes and deployments through ArgoCD
• Monitoring and logging with Datadog
• Istio service mesh for observability
