We are looking for a Senior Developer who want to be in the forefront of large scale software development, within our near real-time Business Support Solutions with focus on Charging and 5G, geared for virtualization and cloud environment.

You will be part of a specialised team of senior developers. Focus for the team is troubleshooting and designing solutions to complex system-wide problems while securing competitive price/performance and efficiency in all deployments. Development teams seek support and guidance from this team in the non-functional area. The team is often directly involved in critical customer situations where you quickly need to translate issues into remedies.

The role is in Karlskrona Sweden and part of the development domain Charging.

Key responsibilities:

A Developer in our team will:

• Lead complex troubleshooting in the non-functional area within Charging domain.
• Troubleshoot/Propose/Design/Implement improvements, aspiring for efficiency and removing bottlenecks in the code.
• Align and negotiate implementation strategy with Chief architects and Software architects, both on TPG and solution level
• Show direction, lead and empower development teams towards best practices

To be successful in the role one must have

• Excellent understanding of non-functional aspects in a real time BSS systems
• Proven experience from connecting complected functions into efficient coding patterns with high expectations on low latency and high performance.
• Excellent experience in performance sensitive coding solutions using Java, Java Script and JSON,
• Excellent experience in VMs and Containers using tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, Openstack and cloud experience
• Proficient in YAML, Python, Ansible, shell scripting, Linux systems, Jira, Ansible and Helm.
• Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment, collaboration, open communication and reaching beyond functional borders to seek knowledge
• Positive, enthusiastic and high energy
