Product Owner, Data Analytics

Your role within our Kingdom

If you are passionate about developing awesome data systems that deliver relevant value rapidly, then this could be the role for you. If you have experience with data warehousing at scale, data modelling, ETL, standard business reporting systems (such as QlikView or Tableau), and development of large scale data-driven analytics systems, even better: we are developing and using interesting, leading-edge systems that deal with very high volume.

Your role would be that of Product Owner within one or more small, highly capable cross-functional scrum teams:

Work closely with the development scrum teams to make sure we develop the right things
Work closely with the stakeholders across King and with the VP Business Intelligence & Data Analytics to understand their needs and priorities
Manage, prioritize and communicate the product backlog
Oversee internal and external dependencies
Understand, partake in and discuss key architecture and technical decisions to make sure those are focused on the right priorities
Skills to create thrills

Experience working as product manager or product owner for data warehousing or other data-centric operations
Experience working with agile development teams and processes
Technical background able to understand what the team does
Experience working with data and reporting concepts or systems with very diverse requirements
A great team player able to work effectively with people across different locations
Excellent communicator and facilitator, both spoken, written and in presentation
Comfortable interacting with everyone from big data engineers and business intelligence developers to senior executives
Not afraid of being hands-on when necessary
Able to work in a flexible and fluid environment where the job will evolve over time
