Job description:

Specification, design and verification of various types of electronic products based on microcontrollers and/or advanced computer modules. You work in a project team together with electronic designers, mechanical designers, NPI engineers and Sourcing and as a team you develop complete products for serial production.
Competence and experience:

A broad perspective for new ideas, enjoy having the ability to affect our products and have a great interest in product development.
A spirit that enjoy working in a fast-paced development team, working independently or closely with other engineering disciplines during development, test and integration.
Good knowledge in spoken and written English.
Experience from customer support. External customers usually need help with product integration. Internal customers includes our operations where our team support testing of our products.
Academic degree within electrical- or computer engineering
Experience from our technical platforms are meriting:
Linux operating systems. Yocto build systems are used both for X86 and arm platforms but knowledge in other build systems is an advantage.
Windows operating systems. Our products use both Windows CE/Compact and more traditional Windows embedded systems.
Application development. The graphical framework we mainly develop under is based on QT in combination with C, C++ or Codesys.
Micro controller development. These are typically arm based, programmed under C and involve peripherals over buses such as I2C and SPI.
Version management systems. TFS, SVN, GIT and share-point are technologies used for version management in different projects.
Experience in control of actuators such as hydraulics, pneumatics and electric motors.

The position will be located in our Alfta facility, Sweden where our manufacturing and majority of hardware engineering is done.
