Sr Technical Lead - Perforce

In this role you will report to the Manager AMS for IT Operations - Game Development Infrastructure Services (GDIS), and work closely with the L2 support team located in Bangalore, India and use your knowledge of web technologies to enhance and maintain key applications used in the game development infrastructure services. You will be responsible for understanding requirements and providing deep technical leadership to our outsourced service providers to ensure speedy problem resolution, this will include estimating work effort, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and assisting in production support of all applications.

Job Overview:
- Engage and work with offshore team supporting GDIS applications and infrastructure
- Understand the enhancements and bug fixes as requested by application owner
- Support and manage major web applications in the production environment
- Understanding of IT operations processes such as Incident, Change, Problem Management processes
- Document tools and practices and participate actively in knowledge sharing processes. Share best practices and learn from other team members and peers
- Provide high level technical expertise to ensure efficient day to day operations
- Provide oversight, ownership and accountability for resolution of critical/high visibility incidents in coordination with other groups
- Work closely with the engineering teams/SMEs to understand new capabilities and ensure that support standards are in place
- Work across IT teams and business units to solve complex problems and recommend improvements and solutions, and identify recurring issues, application patches and upgrades
- Keep up with trends and relevant system development technologies within application and/or technology domain
- Work with other strategic partners to ensure regular knowledge transfer and service level agreements are met
- Responsible for orchestrating both simple and complex tasks with limited supervision

Required Technical Skills:
- Bachelor?s degree or equivalent IT qualifications
5+ years? experience with web application support/management and IT solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Perforce (SCM) source/version control is required
- Experience with Database/DBMS technologies
- Experience with browser technologies like JavaScript, HTML5, AngularJS, API
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
- Ability to take specific technical requirements and fulfill those requirements as written
- Desire to communicate consistently and constantly with project owners about status, path forward and state
- Knowledge of Linux, able to troubleshoot using inbuilt tools available on the platform
- Experience with scripting languages, such as Perl, Shell, Bash, etc.
- Ability to conduct complex systems problem analysis and guide teams towards speedy resolution

Good to have:
- Experience with Jira and/ or Confluence, or Stash
- Experience with developing web application using .Net Framework, CSS, HTML, and AJAX web programming, general web functions
- Experience in C#, developing ASP.NET applications, web services
ITIL process knowledge
