Are you our new Software Engineer?

Arriver™ is a new software unit and brand, fully focused on developing perception, fusion and drive policy software for the next generation cars. It will deliver an open, scalable and flexible architecture solution running on Qualcomm® Snapdragon Ride™ System on a Chip (SoC) platform. Arriver™ has 800 people in five countries - China, Germany, Romania, Sweden, USA - and builds on more than a decade of experience in active safety software development.

In Sweden we are situated in Linkoping, Stockholm and Gothenburg with around 400 colleagues.

What you'll do?

We are looking for a Software Engineer preferably with experience of and deep interest in embedded software development in an agile team. If part of that is focused on automotive projects preferably with safety critical application it is a strong merit.

As a Software Engineer you work in our platform projects together with local and global colleagues in cross-functional scrum teams.

As part of the fast-paced exciting journey we are taking towards advanced safety and AD software you will have an excellent chance of growing while contributing to our state-of-the-art product portfolio of safe software deliverables.

Our international, agile and highly collaborative teams of developers work closely together to design, develop, and deliver an integrated, customized software stack to global automakers. The SW stack is developed as a global Platform project by experts from our international teams in Romania, China, Germany, and US. Depending on candidates seniority and interest you will have the chance to take on lead roles coordinating the global team of engineers. That include roles defined by SAFE i.e. PO or SM or more technical roles focusing on architecture or safety engineering.

You will

- Participate in agile sprint planning, daily stand-up, retrospective meetings etc together with global SW scrum team
- Analyze and debug incoming change or bug reports
- Perform peer code review
- Create technical documentation such as SWAD, SW req
- Break down requirement and link in traceability matrix
- Implement SW according to requirement based on nominal or safety related requirements
- Interface application project explaining how the global projects can use the generic ADAS platform and configure it for a specific customer vehicle structure
- Interface System and Safety teams and bring the SW view and expertise into cross-functional problem solving activities or discussions.
- Share best practices in one or more of our technical communities

What you'll bring:

To succeed in this position, we believe you have more than one of the following capabilities and backgrounds:

- A Bachelor or Master Degree in computer science or equivalent area
- Several years of experience of software development in embedded software industry preferably specific to Automotive and ADAS
- Software and system level testing experience (unit and system), preferably from embedded systems
- Software development experience with great interest in programming, preferably in C/C++ and Python
- Systems engineering experience and understanding of V-model, requirement engineering and traceability
- Knowledge on software Design
- Experience in Software Requirements both system and SW level
- Experience Software development for target HW in C/C++
- Software development tools in mainly python preferred
- Experience in Development of system and SW tests
- Knowledge on ISO 26262 and preferably implementation of chip suppliers safety manual and general FFI concepts
- Algorithm development experience within the ADAS area is a bonus
