AD-expert with a "split vision" within System Admin to Verisure

The team´s responsibility is to maintain and develop Verisure´s internal IT-infrastructure, which includes all systems except for the alarm infrastructure. They are responsible for all computers and users in seven countries in Northern Europe and the cooperation with other countries is expanding continuously. Due to the company´s growth they are looking for a very technical-driven and experienced system administrator with Microsoft AD focus. A person who likes integration, continuous improvements and assures that the infrastructure is secure and meets the high requirements.

About the position
As a Corporate Systems Specialist your foremost responsibility is to continue developing their Windows environment with the AD and attached infrastructure. You will work with integration of other systems such as authentication for Linux servers or third-party-applications. High performance and security is something you will be striving to obtain.

The team you will be joining consists of six persons who have different areas of expertise but who tries complementing each other in a good way. They work closely with the local IT-support department at their different offices, but also with the 24/7 operation and IP communication department. Good communication with these departments is essential in this position. The position requires some traveling to offices in Europe, approximately ten travel days per year.

Who are you?
Your area of expertise is within Microsoft Windows Infrastructure with a focus on AD. You have good experience within user administration, GPO´s, patching and packaging of applications. Furthermore you have good experience within VB-scripting and preferably within PowerShell as well. You have a strong technical interest and a broad technical knowledge. You are interested in new technical areas and cool solutions even outside the world of Microsoft. In that sense you could say that you have "split vision". You are already familiar, or want to learn more about, some of the following areas.

- Certificates for computers, devices and users
- Web filtering/security
- Antivirus/Malware
- Other operating systems (Mac OSx/Linux)
- IBM Notes/Domino and Connections Cloud
- MDM, Mobile Device Management
- Databases
- Web servers (for example Apache, Nginx)
- Application servers (such as Jboss, Tomcat)
- Firewalls and network security

Since you will be operating in an international environment, good knowledge in spoken and written English is a requirement.
