Senior Software Developer

The Genium INET Clearing and Settlement Team is part of Global Technology Solutions, delivering technology solutions to customers around the world.

As a Senior Software Developer you will be integrally involved in meeting our challenge to develop robust high quality software, with ever increasing performance requirements and simultaneously contribute to improve agility and time to market in a changing business and regulatory environment.

Main tasks
?Design and develop new applications based on the latest tools and technologies
?Be involved in the continuous improvements of our back end systems including architecture, design and implementation making sure we stay current with trends and technologies
?Develop, design and maintain our Java server/back end
?Drive code quality assurance improvements such as unit testing and similar
?Analyze functional requirements
?Provide customer support, software trouble shooting and bug fixing
?Work closely with customers, business analysts, developers and testers within the project to ensure successful implementation

Qualifications required
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of relevant work experience and with a Bachelor in computer science, engineering or equivalent. You have proven experience in Object Oriented languages such as Java or C# and Object Oriented Design. We also expect you to have experience of and an interest in agile methodologies and processes. Experience of working with high volume transaction environments and improvements of the same is meriting as is experience from working with financial systems especially Clearing systems.

You have excellent language skills in written and spoken English (Swedish is not required).

This is a regular full time position located in Stockholm. Desired start date is as soon as possible.
