Software is the core part of our business at Lime and there is no gap between developers and business, we work together in a cross-functional mid size team (5-8 people). Our product managers don’t spoon-feed us with requirements or tickets, instead, we meet regularly and decide what’s essential to the product and how it should evolve.

Every developer at Lime is a problem solver and strives to understand how everything fits together. We do pragmatic solutions to hard problems, a good mix of freedom and responsibility, and most importantly – having a great time at work! We are encouraged to come up with new ideas and experiment a lot. We think long-term and our ambition is to write clean and maintainable code. Our developers take ownership of architecture and automated testing.

We always stick to the “best tool for the problem” approach – we listen to industry trends with interest, but evaluate if something is right for us. We do things that matter to our customers and maintain a vision to stay on the right path.

The team today

We are a small ambitious, and autonomous development team with all levels of seniority developers (mid to seniors) playing mostly with Laravel Stack.

Our size team including our Product owner is a 6 people in full stack setup. As a semi-distributed team with a main core in Gävle, we have adapted our day-to-day processes in a remote working setup.

We have the ambition to become a team of 10-12 developers within a couple of years. It’s an ambitious goal but we have all the tools to succeed and we’d love to have you onboard as a key member of our team.

Being part of a Lime Engineering team you will get a lot of freedom and we guarantee no code monkey business.

We have a lightweight process using the latest Agile techniques with stable feature cycles and no deadlines (search BaseCamp / ShapeUp).

Lime Forms / Lime Portal are our responsible product gaining more and attraction from customer around the European market.
Our main stack

- Up and Running Laravel >7 stack
- VueJS (2 or 3) with hybrid setup (blade templates)
- Laravel Forge server provision system
- Our infrastructure is built with AWS, Docker and soon GitHub Actions
