Summer Intern - Android App Developer

This is an opportunity to do a summer internship in a global organization in an exciting, meaningful business and with future career opportunities.

We are primarily looking for Data and IT students, in the latter part of their studies. You will be working in our R&D department in Gothenburg with our Android smartphones for healthcare e.g. Ascom Myco 3 (https://www.ascom.com/products-and-services/mobile-devices/smartphones/myco-3/). You will be part of a team of software developers, interaction designers, technical writers, and test engineers. Small enough to make friends with the whole team and big enough to make a difference.

Work tasks

Primary, software/app development in Android based smartphone. But may also include development of test automation and continues integration (CI) as well as improvements to the development environment.

Qualifications

- Data or IT Bachelor student.
- Fluent in English, speech and writing.
- Basic Swedish skills (current team language).
- At least minor experience in Android app development.
- Experience programing in Java and/or Kotlin.

Meritorious

- Linux experience
- GIT/Gerrit experience
- Jenkins experience
