Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer with deep knowledge of the Android Platform.

We are looking for an experienced SW engineer to strengthen our Android Framework team, with the ambition to rapidly grow into a key member of the team and with deep knowledge of the Android Platform. You and the team are responsible for integrate, adapt, and optimize new OS versions to our products. Quality is a priority in our products and something you share in your work. What you will do from day to day

• Analysis of issues and finding suitable solutions
• Debugging of both Java and C++ code
• Communication with internal users and developers globally
• Collaborating with platform vendors and Google on bug fixes
• Reviewing code from other developers
• Working with standard software management tools e.g. git, gerrit

Competences we are looking for

• Relevant Engineering degree
• About 5 years of experience in Android development
• Deep knowledge of the Android Platform (experience in framework area is a big plus)
• Skilled in C++, Java and Kotlin with solid interest in programming and software development
• Fluent in English
