IT Solution Architect

In order to strengthen our solution areas with technical knowledge we are now looking for an IT Solution Architect to the Customer Service area within Business Solutions ? Retail and Expansion. In a current project we are rolling out the new IKEA Customer Master globally. You would be a key resource in this project and be the bridge to the line organization that develops new functionalities and supports the growing IKEA business with new solutions in the area of Customer data.

About the opportunity as IT Solution Architect
As an IT Solution Architect you will have the opportunity to work in a global and diverse environment designing solutions that supports domain/project architecture, business requirements and takes IKEA to the target landscape. As a project member you will be part of a core team working in a global IT environment where we collaborate with world leading technology companies to achieve great results together.

Responsible for the Solution High level design in the context of one or more domains
Lead solution activities within the domain(s)
Provide expertise for roadmaps, pre-studies and design workshops
Steer project(s) to follow decided architecture standards and ensure fulfillment of the functional and non-functional requirements in the solution.
What kind of experience should you have?
We believe you are today working as an IT Architect, Solution Architect or Lead Developer in the context of a large IT landscape. You have experience in requirement engineering as well as architectural frameworks and methods and have been working with out of the box solutions from large software vendors like Oracle, JDA or IBM.

Key skills:
Knowledge within the area of Customer Data Management/Master Data Management.
Experience from implementation/realization of IT products and services
Experience of work with Oracle Customer Hub/Siebel UCM and/or similar standard components.
Experience of working with third party vendors
Good knowledge of architecture & solution frameworks and the usage of architecture methods and modeling techniques
Good knowledge about system integration
Good communication skills in written/spoken English

Responsibilities:
Requirement analysis and high level design within the area of IKEA Customer Master Data
Collaboration with IKEA stakeholders to find smart and effective solutions
Collaboration with software and service vendors
Quality Assurance of deliveries from service vendors
Support Solution owners and Project Managers with functional expertise in the area of IKEA Customer Master
