iOS / UI Software Developer

We are a young startup whose mission is to design novel musical instruments and accessories that combine Stradivari’s acoustic tradition with digital and IoT technologies. Our team is composed by motivated music enthusiasts with experience in various fields. We are well funded and just became part of STING, Sweden’s leading startup incubator.

We are looking to expand our technical team with a talented and passionate developer who will help us to implement the graphical interfaces that are going to be the companion of Sensus, our revolutionary smart guitar, and our future generation of enhanced musical instruments.

You will:

• Design and develop an iOS application for controlling (via WiFi or Bluetooth) the software running in our embedded system
• Write quick prototypes and internal tools for Desktop PCs
• Manage your own time and work well independently for delivering new features for your project
• Interact with other team members for defining and improving communication protocols and data representation formats

You must:

• Be passionate about music and experienced with musical production tools
• Be willing to work in an intense and collaborative startup environment
• Be proficient in developing iOS apps (using ObjectiveC and/or SWIFT)
• Have experience with network programming (TCP/IP sockets) and serialization protocols (e.g. JSON, Google Protocol Buffers)
• Be able to rapidly develop Desktop GUI applications using a language and tool of your choice (Python, C#, etc.)
• Have experience with Object Oriented design and Agile development practices

It’s good if you have one or more of the following:

• Knowledge of music production tools such as DAWs, sequencers, etc.
• Working experience in developing musical applications
• Proficiency in Python rapid GUI development (e.g. with PyQt, wxPython)
