What you will do 
Are you a passioned Diagnostic System Design Engineer that like to be challenged and holds a desire to develop your skills, this might be the place for you to prosper! You will help Volvo Cars R&D to set the right requirements and to guide different parts at Volvo Cars to fulfil the requirements. It is important that you have good diagnostic knowledge so that you can grasp the complexity of diagnostic expectations and turn them into requirements. You will also work with the design of new future concepts for how to collect and analyze data. You will get the chance to work in an international agile team with leading-edge technology. Together we develop a technical area that is crucial for Volvo Cars continues success. 

Who are you?
We believe that you have a M.Sc or B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with an inclination and passion for Diagnostics and data. You have knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture. 
We would like you to have 5+ years’ experience in automotive industry with diagnostics, preferable with diagnostic design.
Are familiar with UDS/ISO 14229 and AUTOSAR. Have knowledge of the aftermarket and their needs. You are comfortable in sharing knowledge and guiding other in their work.
You possess excellent communication skills in English in both speaking and writing since you will be working in a very diverse surrounding.

You are flexible and have excellent communication and documentation skills. You have a positive attitude and are a supportive person with a customer focused approach. 
You are eager to learn with a growth mindset and have a genuine interest in moving the testing process forward in a positive and driven way.
You are experienced with agile development (SAFe).
