Who is your future team?
We are a growing team of experienced engineers within the department for Production Engineering and Technology, working with developing software that is used during the manufacturing processes of all Axis products. Our systems run worldwide 24/7, with our central hub located in Lund where all of our data is collected for analysis and visualization. We work closely in an agile manner with a broad range of tasks, touching on many of Axis technologies; both hardware and software. We are also collaborating with several other key teams and projects within Axis.
Our systems run primarily in a Windows environment, and our focus is to make them as efficient as possible in order to serve our users and other developers. We are always open for new ways to improve and are eager to learn about new technologies that contribute to an even better solution.
Our team is part of a larger division of about 100 engineers working with production engineering and technology, and together with our colleagues within electronics and mechanical engineering we develop and support production systems globally.
What you'll do here as a SW development engineer
In your role as SW engineer you will design and implement tests (primarily in C#) that runs in our production systems. We work in a small team which take responsibility to deliver tests needed in various different product development projects. Since tests are developed in cooperation with R&D and different other stakeholders within Axis, you will work in a broad network within our company. You will also work with building releases for production, continuous improvement projects as well as support and maintenance of our test portfolio.

We are looking for driven, technically minded SW Engineers with a passion for making efficient software. Engineers who are not afraid of making changes and trying new things in an environment where details matter and every change can have a big impact. For this position we are open for both junior and experienced engineers.
As teamwork is crucial for Axis and for the team it is important that you are communicative, in both Swedish and English, and can contribute to a good team spirit promoting a creative and stimulating work environment.
We believe that you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within Computer Science, Engineering Physics or Equivalent.
