We, in the iOS team, are a bunch of the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers.

We ideate and build all of the Truecaller iOS app. Our vision is to take our love for Apple products and build a great iOS app with beauty, care & affection.

As a Test Engineer in the iOS team, you will be a key figure in assuring and improving our product quality, making sure that we are giving a world-class experience to our users. Your responsibilities include taking ownership of the planning and maintaining our testing processes and structures and involvement in different stages of product development.

Our ideal candidate would be someone who lives in the Apple ecosystem and understands an iOS user’s life. We need you to be meticulous and have the skills to encourage the team to achieve best quality. Within this role, you would be working closely with the engineering team, testers, designers & product owner to build an app that users can’t help but fall in love with

What do we expect from you

• 5+ years of pure mobile testing experience, (iOS more preferred)
• Experience in test design, test execution, defect analysis, test reporting and improving
• Experience with testing API’s with Postman or any equivalent tool
• Experience in working with Agile teams
• Great understanding of exploratory testing
• Excellent communication skills, speaking, and writing
• Experience with Automation is a plus

What will you work on

• Make sure test activities are identified for user stories
• Create and maintain test plans and test case
• Identify test activities and test dependencies that span across the domain to ensure the end to end quality.
• Coordinate / coach developer’s participation in the team's test activities.
• Be the gatekeeper for all team deliverables agreed quality levels to ensure that acceptance criteria and definition of done are met before a task is closed.
• Analyzing and interpreting, getting to the heart of complex problems and issues

• Jenkins
• Startup background
• Strong iOS experience
