Digital Delivery is a new function within Group Digital & IT. It has the ambition to identify and execute on new digital initiatives in tight collaboration with other Group Functions as well as modernize and transform our existing solutions into products and to secure agile ways of working across the whole Digital Delivery function.

Together with our digital talents, we will work on solution design and deliveries to improve business performance and create value at scale for Volvo Group. Included in our mission is to drive an efficient Group Digital & IT interface and Portfolio Management.

This is how you could make an impact

In this role you will have full end2end responsibility for developing and maintaining Diagnostics and Connectivity solutions used by Volvo Penta customers worldwide. Aligned with the Volvo Group strategies and goals and by leveraging the North Star Architecture strategy, you will set the vision and strategy of your solution. Moreover, you will serve Volvo Penta with novel state-of-the-art solutions, boosting the service market business. The value you and your team create will enable the Volvo Group service strategy and span the area of Diagnostics and Software download services and their integrations resulting in swift diagnostics, and flexible Software updates whenever our customers' needs it.

In your role, you are adding value by developing high performing teams and building great collaboration with the stakeholders in your deliveries. In addition, you are driving the change management necessary to reach the transformation goals. This role does not include any Line Management responsibility and you will report to the Head of Diagnostics & SWDL.

These will be some of your responsibilities:

• Managing the IT solution design and delivery
• Support the strategic initiatives in terms of team capacity and knowledge.
• Building solid relationships with main stakeholders within the user community.
• Support the roadmap for the Penta Diagnostics and Connectivity Domain targeting a technology shift in terms of Mobile solutions and Electromobility.
• Being accountable for meeting SLAs (Service Level Agreements), and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
• Drive continuous improvements in way of working towards a fully agile approach.
• Accelerating the DevSecOps journey and continuously improving speed and agility.
• Focusing on continuous improvement on the exiting delivery and driving for the best user experience.
• Encouraging the team to embrace modern technologies, finding ways to utilize them for the best of the solution and Volvo Group.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role we believe you are an excellent communicator who values and understands the importance of good relationships across multiple functions. You have previous experience of creating and nurturing high performance teams in a global setting, preferably in an Agile way of working. You have a strong delivery focus and a solid customer mindset.

With additional experience from an aftermarket domain or similar you will be well equipped to deal with the challenges of the role.

In addition to this you also have:

• Understanding of solution delivery frameworks
• Experience in driving initiatives and prioritizing various activities
• Ability to create team’s engagement around shared visions and objectives
• Experience in working in a global and cross-functional environment
