Database administrator

Role description
You are a great Database Administrator with a strong innovation focus! You are an expert in performance tuning, development and design. We are looking for a DBA that can evolve our database environment that mainly is Oracle databases but also be part of handling our MySQL, MSSQL and NoSQL environments. Our Database team at Unibet is a vital part of the Techdev team. You will be responsible for managing our databases and support the developer teams to build excellent applications at Unibet.

Key accountabilities of this role are
Work closely with the DBA team to evolve our database environment
Act as database expert together with the development teams at Unibet
Evaluate and test new technology
Work close together with the Infrastructure and Network team to build the best platform for our databases.

We're looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge and experience
5 years of experience as a DBA on Oracle
Experience with NoSQL databases, preferred Couchbase
Strong customer service and conflict management skills
Assist developers with performance challenges and architecture of the database(s) for maximum performance
Good knowledge in DB-designing and development
Develop routines to keep a stable and high performing environment
Assist developers if database- or data-issues arise
A plus if you have any experience of MySQL and MSSQL.

Able to work in a team as well as taking your own initiatives
