Cloud developer/Engineer

About the position

We are seeking for Cloud Engineers that will make a difference by development of cloud services and tools to support and simplify application deployments.

As Cloud Engineer you will, together with the team, support the Infrastructure transformation in line with the IT architecture and roadmaps towards the strategic IT direction. Furthermore, you will, in collaboration with internal teams, develop according to the defined roadmap and initiatives, as well as develop key capabilities required to make our IT more agile and speedy. You will also support in daily operations.

In this role, you will be required to work some after-office hours at occasional peaks and on-call duty might be needed.

The role is based in Malmö/Stockholm, and you will report to Head of Cloud Services within Technology Platform.

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you should have a deep interest in cloud computing, rapid service delivery, self-service, elasticity, and automation, and experience from large scale IT (infrastructure and software engineering).

As a person you are highly committed with an ambition to always seek a better solution and striving to be ahead on the new trends. You are expected to learn about the technologies within the cloud paradigm and open for new areas of expertise. We expect you to look for ways to improve process efficiencies and effectiveness, and to contribute with technical expertise to content creation and to boost new initiatives. Therefore, you are a good listener, who likes to look at things from different angles and accept there is something new for you to learn or consider.

In this role, you will cooperate and coordinate across internal and external organizations.

For this, you will need strong interpersonal skills and a structured approach to your tasks – in other words, you have sharp problem-solving skills, you create trust, and have integrity.

In addition to the above, you will need to have strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.

We believe that you have the following technical qualifications:

• Experience with general scripting python, bash, PowerShell and ansible
• Beneficial to have experience with Java-script
• Experience with Container, Kubernetes, or Docker
• Strong insight into Cloud paradigm and DevOps (agile)
• Have an automation mindset
