Do you want to create the future IT solution for our stores?

We are looking for a System Developer POS with a technical profile and a passion for retail and IT. 

In this role you work with the complete development lifecycle of systems for Lindex stores with a main focus on Point of Sales. This involves analysis, design, programming, documentation and testing. You are a skilled Microsoft developer and understand existing code quickly. You find solutions to problems in the existing code base and ways to add functionality without breaking the current structure. On call duties are included in the role. 

To succeed in this role you have several years documented experience from software development. Required skills are:

* Visual C++
* Java
* Visual Basic 6.0
* MS SQL

Experience in automated testing (including GUI and external devices) would be valued additional qualifications as well as experience from point of sales applications, payment solutions and .Net skills.

You are driven and have a great interest in our business processes. Since the fashion industry is a fast moving business you need to be able to adapt to new ideas and initiatives and understand how they can be incorporated in our systems. You have good prioritization skills, great analytical ability and you are a team player with an interest in developing yourself and others. You are pragmatic and solution oriented and not afraid of going into details to solve both development and operational issues. You are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
