Job Description

• Level of knowledge: intermediate / advanced Python, Bash, PowerShell, GroovyHigh availability (autoscaling, load balancing, availability zones, content caching, regions)
• Distributed Storage: block devices, filesystems, object storages
• DB in a Cloud (scaling/sharding/balancing)
• PaaS, Serverless
• Understanding of RPO/RTO
• Public clouds
• Container Orchestration: Kubernetes, OpenStack, etc
• Log management (ELK, EFK, etc)
• Experience in network topology
• Data Transfer Security (encryption, keys, certificates)
• Git\Gerrit
• Jenkins
• Linux, other Unix-like, Windows
• IaC (Terraform, Azure Templates)

Would be a Plus:

• Gerrit.
• Network Perimeter Security (proxy, VPNs, Firewalls).
• Monitoring (Prometheus\Grafana, StackDriver, etc)
• Tracing (AppInsights, Jaeger, Zipkin etc.)

Job Responsibilities

About team:

We are setuping DevOps team from scrtach to lead the integration work to secure an always working software baseline with expected functional content towards the next generations of cars of Eurpean automotive vendors.

The resources will work together with the architectural team to develop the technical guidelines and roadmap across R&D.

This team will constitute the technical CI and CM lead across R&D to minimize the short- and long-term technical debt and to build a culture of collaboration and exploration.

Total team size Q1-Q2: 12 -14 engineers. possible extention.

Main responsibilities:

• Leading offshore DevOps team from Client office;
• development of the technical guidelines and roadmap across R&D.
• support development of workkflow in collaboration with ART managemwent team.
• automation of the target process
• plotting the results for the solution
• management of building the created solution
• - visualization of the results of the created product
• integration of solutions with an already working system
• development of complex solutions with dependencies
• The deliveries will the be tested and tracked to optimize the end-to-end flow over time.
• Together they will drive the technical analysis/triage of found deviations with high severity.
• Often business trips are expected.

The project aim is to optimize, extend with new features Automotive Solution. Our clients are Tier 1s and OEMs from Europe and USA and development is targeted to Automotive Solution what will be deployed in newest cars. The project is considered as technical excellence and we are paying huge attention to technical challenge motivation of our team members as well as excellence compensation.

At our project we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture - key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive.

Challanging project to setup infrastructure form scratch for auotmotive solutions for European cars vendors. Knowledge and creativity are welcome.
