ABOUT HALEYTEK

HaleyTek is a joint venture between Volvo Cars and ECARX. We’re on a mission to develop software for Android-based Infotainment systems, for current and future Volvo and Polestar models. We will also make this software available for other brands, mainly within the Geely group. Our focus is on the platform software that enables navigation, media, voice assistants and other services to run on cutting-edge hardware. Quite simply, we want to change the world.

HaleyTek has just started up their new office at Lindholmen in Gothenburg and today they house around 80 employees but is aiming to grow even more during 2022.

Nexer Tech Talent are now looking to hire five junior software engineers to join HaleyTek via a talent program designed to match the competence needed.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIES AT HALEYTEK

There are two possible opportunities to join HaleyTek via Nexer Tech Talent program; either as a Embedded Software Developer or as a Android Developer. See the requirements for each role below.

Positions:

Embedded Software Developer: 

• Have a BSc or MSc in computer science, data science or electrical engineering.
• You have good skills in C++
• A genuine interest for infotainment and embedded systems

Android Developer:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or Engineering physics/mathematics
• Java and Android development (app-development)
• You are a true developer who is motivated by challenging tasks, have a personal interest in technology and love to make the best software product out there. You enjoy learning from others, as well as sharing your knowledge with your colleagues. 

PROGRAM DETAILS

• The program spans over 12 months and starts in sep 2022
• Most of the time you will be spending with your team at HaleyTek
• Once a month you will meet up with the other participants to take part in the learning sessions arranged by Nexer
• After successful participation in the program, you will be offered an employment at HaleyTek
