AD & ADAS Platform System verification Radar sensors
Our Unit, Safe Vehicle Automation, consists of ambitious and highly skilled engineers and is responsible all the way from research and advanced engineering to implementation,
Verification and validation of current and future customer offers in our cars.

Within our ART (Agile Release Train) Autonomous Drive & Advanced Driver Assistance System Platform, we develop the foundation for our functions. We lead the development of our components, for example Lidar, Radar, Cameras, and ultrasonic sensors and integrate the system into a complete platform that we can build our functions on.

At Radar & Ultrasonic sensors we are four agile teams working close together with suppliers, partners and other teams to specify, integrate and verify our sensor solutions. We are now looking for a developer for our Ultrasonic team.

What you will do
We are now looking for a driven, organized, and social team player to take part in our agile development team that is leading the development of our radar sensors. Your focus will be Sensor Performance verification, System verification and analysis in our HIL (Hardware In the Loop) where you will drive the work to implement our testcases in our automatized test environment as well as our own team environment and secure our radar performance in cars. You will lead the task to integrate the sensors in our test vehicle according to the system architecture. You will create testcase based on requirements, create reports, present conclusions, and share recommendations based on test results. Together with the team you will continually develop test cases and test environments. You will be responsible for looking for data collections requirements along with other teams and making sure that we are logging the right data in the data collections cars.

Who are You?
We see that you have experience of relevant Volvo Cars product development processes and tools(CarWeaver/SystemWeaver, DSA, Carconfig). You need experience from programming e.g., Python or CAPL, have competence within radar domain like sensor performance verification, system design or understanding of vehicle architecture, Vector tools; CANoe & CANalyser, creating simulations based on the vehicle network, knowledge regarding ISO26262. It is great if you have experience of writing and executing test cases both in cars and HIL, and analyzing and identifying faults, analyzing the field issues.
Fluent in English both written and spoken and have knowledge within software and Hardware design the automotive sector. Driver`s license “B” valid in EU (European Union) is needed and knowledge in Volvo Cars agile development is meritorious.
