Lead developer

Trustly´s website is the window into the world of secure online payment solutions, customized towards our key stakeholders.
As the lead developer in the marketing team you are engaged in smaller as well as larger projects, involving feasibility-studies along with the implementations of new solutions for our website. In addition there is the on-going process of ensuring that the necessary policies, routines and plans are in place.
We believe that you are a frontend developer with a deep understanding of database-concepts. Your experience include architecting website logics and user flows. You will work closely with the digital marketing team, online sales, customer support and other functions.

The tasks require that you:

• ensure world-class delivery of code, thus satisfying a quality web experience
• build new sections of the website such as landing pages for marketing campaigns
• architect and build layers on top of the existing site in order to increase the conversion related to sales, newsletters et.c.
• initiate, update and communicate IT/architectural principles/policies for the website
• investigate, design and implement new web-technical solutions as needed.
• orchestrate and integrate third party services to serve the above.
• manage suppliers and vendors related to your area of responsibility

We are looking for a strategic person who can assist in making the long-term plans for the website. Someone who will shoulder the responsibility of coaching, supporting and leading the development team to achieve its goals, with effectiveness in mind.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-5 years as a front-end developer
• Fluency in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
• Good experience in Postgre SQL.
• You are fluent in English

Preferable skills:

• Knowledge of backend development, PHP, databases and SQL
• Experience in project management
• An understanding of marketing
• Experience in smart applications to increase customer satisfaction, online sales and brand-interaction.
