Videofy is looking for a CTO that can take the company to the next level

Videofy is social video network in Scandinavia where users play and upload new videos everyday. Videofy are ready to scale internationally and they are looking for someone that wants to take on that challenge together with the team. Videofy is expected to gain a lot of traction in the next 1-2 year and will replace some parts of their Ruby stack with other technologies. Would you like to play a crucial role on that? Would you like to shape the architecture of Videofy so that it can serve millions requests?

OM TJÄNSTEN
Videofy value structure, conventions and persistence in their code over documenting every single part. They like reusable, open-source code and Gems so that they don’t have to write everything by themselves. Videofy strive to challenge themselves every day and “can’t be done” doesn’t exist in their vocabulary.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
As CTO you will lead the development of the product and lead the development team. You will evaluate new technologies and shape the architecture of Videofy. ?Today Videofy are building and maintaining a Ruby backend for their iOS and web products.

VI SÖKER DIG SOM
* Experience in both frontend and backend development
* Experience with Ruby in general and Ruby on Rails
* Experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases
* Experience in building high throughput REST API’s
* Experience in test or behavior driven development and using best practices and coding standards
