System Developer

For Sandvik Coromant and our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) team we’re now looking for a System Developer to join our development team and work with global production systems. Within the MES team we offer you the variation of working with different systems and there are plenty of possibilities to grow – both on a professional and personal level. Sounds interesting? About the job

In this position, you develop solutions according to business demands and ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented. You work with various technologies and determine software requirements, considering scalability, security, accessibility and extendibility. Together with your team, you provide maintenance, enhancements, support, releases and upgrades for our systems – helping our global organization towards an even more efficient tomorrow.

The location for this position is in Gimo or Sandviken, and we offer you the opportunity to work part of the time remotely.

This is you

We believe that you have a relevant education for the job, and it’s a plus if your education is backed by some work experience. Or perhaps you’re well equipped for the job just based on your previous experience. This position will challenge your skills and knowledge within object-oriented programming, relational databases and modern fronted technologies. Knowledge in .NET, Azure DevOps, TypeScript and Containers may be of use Working in a truly global organization naturally calls for fluency in English, while knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Your personality truly makes the difference, and with your good communicative and interpersonal skills, you easily build relations with people around you. You’re also a true team player who believes that the best solutions emerge when collaborating with others.
