Data Analyst

Doktor.se is looking for a Data Analyst to join our exciting growth journey. You will get great opportunity to work closely with our business and develop your analytics capabilities and you will report to the Engineering Manager.

Job Description

As a Data Analyst, you will be developing the data processing models and will have the responsibility of providing BI reporting and self-service solutions for our business.

You will be an important catalyst for change in our transformation into a truly data-driven organization. You will analyze the data, build reporting dashboards and develop new ways for visualization. You will drive technical implementations and guide our business how to best use different data capabilities.

Qualifications and personal qualities

We are looking for someone that has a

- Preferably university degree in technology, computer science, business analytics or other similar

- Practical experience in data processing, data modelling and analysis

- Extensive knowledge of SQL

- Experience with data analysis and visualisation tools (we use Microsoft PowerBI & DAX)

- Exposure to data architecture, data pipelines and data transformation

- Strong analytical skills and understanding of the purpose of the data in end to end business process

- Good work experience in developing business dashboards and reporting

- Understanding of agile software development in a DevOps environment and automated platforms

- Ability to effectively communicate in the English, both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Attention to detail and quality mindset

- Previously worked as Data Analyst for 3+ year

As a person you are self-driven and result-oriented team player who can understand importance behind the business data.

Skills

We need you to have good competence in the following:

- Translating business requirements into formal specification
- Develop reports, dashboards, and complex visualizations on a BI platform - PowerBI (preferred), AWS Quicksight
- Being able to convey meaningful information in an effective way starting from base data
- SQL
- Python
- Data models and data-warehousing principles
- Data pipelines and architectures
- Cloud platforms (any, preferred AWS)
- DevOps tools and processes (GIT, CI/CD, Agile)
