We are part of an agile product development organisation with SAFE as a way of working and in our Connected Experience. 

The Audio Systems group within the ART Hardware & Mechatronics, is responsible for HW-, SW- and System design of all audio functions in the cars. Apart from the sound systems (amplifier and speakers) the responsibility also includes functions like Media processing, Handsfree and Exterior Sound for Hybrid/Electrical vehicles. Project Management and Audio Tuning is also part of the group’s responsibilities. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles. We use the latest technologies and advanced methods within the audio field to place us in the forefront of audio experiences in vehicles.

As a System Engineer you will be part of a highly skilled agile team which strive for a good mix of nationality, gender, age and experience. Here you will have the opportunity to learn and develop in every sprint. 

Do you fit the profile?
Within Audio System team we are looking for a professional and enthusiastic System Engineer, you will have a key role to define the architecture for Audio, collaborational areas also include suppliers and other parts of the organisation.

As a person, you are self-motivated to deliver on time, on target and with quality. You have very good communication skills and are a team player. Flexibility and a growth mindset are important qualities to possess.

What you'll do
You  are to develop and define a balanced technical/logical/economical solution for the audio area together with a cross functional team. You will support inhouse, partner & supplier implementation. You will also establsih requirement handling as well as technical input to sourcings.

Who you are
You would carry a University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. You should have a minimum one year experience within embedded system engineering. You are driven and self motivated and bring excellent communication skills. You should be fluent in English, both verbally and written.

What would be benefical for you in this role is that you could also bring documented leadership skills. What would also be beneficial for you is if you are also fluent in Swedish, both verbally and written. You bring experience in agile development along with experience within verification of system safety standards e.g. ISO26262. Experience in Python or C/C++.,experience of communication protocols e.g. Ethernet, A2B and experience of tools such as system weaver is highly desired.

We see that you are a driven person, meritoious experience of working within background automotive and  audio engineering.
