What did you do last Friday? We had 3Labs and spent the day innovating, trying out our own ideas to improve our business, processes or other things we thought were valuable.

Four years ago, 3:s IT department started on an agile journey. Since then, we have left big releases with long lead times, we have improved the quality of our deliveries and we have improved the satisfaction of our business owners. At the same time, we have made this a better place to work at! Today we are on a journey towards planet Awesome, a strategy to become the greatest possible IT department and a fantastic place to work at. We have passed some milestones, but we are far from satisfied, and we all share a dedication for improvement. Our innovation day, 3Labs, is one example on our quest to reach planet Awesome.

The scope

We are looking for an architect to join 3:s IT department primarily working with our online channels. We offer you the choice of working in an agile environment where we continuously are striving to be awesome at what we do. As architects we are very much involved in the daily work, and we believe in helping our business and our developers to build the right solutions for our company. We offer you a place where architects help out in finding the solutions, instead of reviewing finished solutions. Architects at 3 supports all development teams, but the primary work area for you is with our online channels and front end systems. You will be a key player in our strategy to build an omni channel solution.

In our online channels, we develop self service functions for 3’s customers, but also common functionality and applications for customer service and sales. Experience from working with online customer experiences, API management, CRM systems and/or sales systems is a plus.

You will also have a general responsibility for security aspects in our solutions, cross all IT. We build API:s towards customers, partners and the business, and you will be part in securing that the work is done in a secure and optimal manner. At 3, we think of security as a culture, and that it is something you build in from the beginning in an application. But, we are looking for one more security champion, and we hope that it is you!

Who are you?

At 3, we never stand still, and you will get to drive change and make a difference!  You will get the opportunity to work both in close collaboration with our business, to help them with their ideas and to make them see needed initiatives at an early stage, and also very closely with developers and business analysts to guide them in their work. You will also be involved in sizing and optimization of hardware.

To be able to succeed as an architect in the online area, we believe you have a background working as a developer, most likely in Java, and that you have developed the skills to see beyond individual systems and also understand how to build solutions across many systems in a highly integrated environment. Preferably you have worked with solution architecture and writing roadmaps in an enterprise environment.  Experience from working with IT security and continuous delivery/integration is highly preferred. If you like working closely together with others and if you are a good communicator, both in writing and in speaking, then 3 is the right place for you.
