Sea IT is expanding its business operations and now welcomes an ICT technician to join our company and be part of Sea ITs continued expansion. Sea IT offers a position with a variety of work assignments in interesting work environments around the world.

Job description
You will play an important role in Sea ITs support team and provide IT support /operational support, installation and upgrades of ours systems to crew on board vessels, rigs and at offices on shore. You will provide daily IT support to employees at offices as well as on board vessels/rigs. The position involves international contacts with staff from various countries. The position includes travel of approximately 75 days/year.

Your background
You have studied network and administration, at gymnasium or university, or have the equivalent knowledge from previous positions. You have great experience of IT support and IT operations. Fluency or excellent written and oral skills in English is a must. You have a driver license (B).

To be successful in this position you need to be a driven and analytical individual with a solution oriented mind set as well as being a quick learner. The position requires ability to work independently, collaborate with others, perform under pressure and apply excellent social skills. Your own commitment and willingness to learn new tasks should be an integral part of your personality.

We see that you have excellent skills from the following areas:
Multiple hardware, MS Windows infrastructure and server environments, virtual environments, back-up and storage solutions, MS Office software, IP communication and infrastructure security.

Previous experience preferred:
Terminal Server, VSAT, MS Exchange, Databases, Amos Mail, Cisco Routing, VOIP/SIP and radio/tele-communication. Previous work experience from the shipping industry is a big plus but not mandatory.

It is a full-time, permanent position located in Gothenburg. Start date after agreement.
