Solution architect CAD/vPDM

We are currently looking for a Solution Architect who is passionate about agile working methods, loves development and enjoys the challenge of getting people onboarded to achieve a common goal.

What you will get
You will be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for CAD/vPDM architecture at Scania. You will also work closely with the development teams. The work also includes a good deal of cross-functional contact with other functions within Scania and the Traton group. You will get a lot of personal development in a technology-intensive global company with the possibility to influence and be driver for Scania’s digitalization journey.

What you will do
Scania is in the middle of an agile transformation and our next CAD/vPDM platform will be the foundation for that.

Your will continue helping us replacing the current CAD/vPDM platform based on CATIA/ENOVIA/DELMIA V5 with a more modern platform based on 3DExperience platform.

You will have a helicopter view of the solution and how it fits in to the application landscape at Scania. You also need to sometimes dig into details of how the system is functioning and how it’s integrated to other systems. You will participate in the solution design and later on take ownership of what we currently are building.

• Drive and keep together the IT architecture together with our teams, business architects and supplier
• Facilitate workshops
• Lead and participate in Proof of Concepts
• Support and guide the teams in any architecture questions
• Together with other architects and our development teams ensure that the solutions are resilient and allow for change, evolution, and scale.  

Your skills
We are looking for candidates who have
• Experience in implementing large/complex installations of PLM systems
• Transform business requirements to technical solutions
• Broad architecture skills, covering application, infrastructure, data and integration
• Good communication skills, good at networking and creating relationships
• Experience from cloud and hybrid solutions, DevOps and Agile
• A university education within IT or equivalent experience
• Knowledge in Java or C++
• Fluent in English
• 10+ years’ work experience

You are solution-oriented, analytical and also driving and leading. Sharing knowledge and experience with your colleagues comes natural to you.

Meritorious is experience from working with 3DExperience/Catia/Enovia platform.
