The Software Product Management team handles all software products within the Rosemount level portfolio. Our mission is to drive continuous feature growth with focus on customer value and best in class user experience. The software product portfolio stretches from configuration/diagnostic software to operator software and mobile/cloud based applications.

The person we are looking for has a strong personal drive with a strategic approach and are able to combine technology with customer needs.

As System Architect, you will provide technical leadership to the Product Management. You will be the owner of one of our software platforms and be responsible for the platform strategy and technical roadmap. You will have a wide network of internal and external contacts. You will work closely with Product Managers, UX designers, Engineering leads and other System Architects to analyze customer requirements, define system requirements and realize these into applicable software architecture aligned with applicable product roadmaps and industry standards. You will lead a core team of software engineer leads in order to coordinate the development of your software platform. We are looking for a senior profile with good leadership skills and at least five years’ experience in relevant positions.

Requirements

You have a broad technical understanding rather than deep and narrow expertise. You have strong communication and presentation abilities and leadership comes naturally for you. Furthermore, you thrive in a collaborative environment with numerous contacts.

We also see that you

• Hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Are fluent in both verbal and written English.
• Have at least five years of professional, relevant experience.

It is a merit if you have experience within any of below

• Backend architecture (Cloud environment, Micro services, message bus, Docker, Kubernetes)
• Frontend architecture (Progressive Webb App, Electron)
• IT/OT cybersecurity (IEC 62443, ISA 27001)
• Requirements management (DevOps, Modern requirements)
• Distributed Control Systems, SCADA Software
• Software development and test (continuous deployment, automated test frameworks)
• UX/UI design (Figma)
