Android Developer

Doktor.se is looking for an Android Developer to join our exciting growth journey. You will join a team with iOS- and Android Developers with technical and product long-term visions and you will report to an Engineering Manager.

Job Description

As an Android Developer you will be a part of the team focused on development of our white label application, that is used by patients around the world. You will contribute to all stages in the product life cycle, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. You will work in a Kanban process where we are constantly streamlining our tools, workflows and making sure that each workday is productive and stimulating.

Qualifications and personal qualities

We want you on board if you:

- Have 3-5 years of Kotlin experience and around 7 years of total Android experience
- Are familiar with Dagger / Hilt / Koin, MVVM, Flows, Arch components and coroutines
- Like to write clean and test-driven code (TDD, BDD)
- Have strong communication skills
- Can communicate very well in English
- Are used to working with larger projects

It would be nice to see that you have an experience with:

- MVI / UDF
- Functional / Reactive style UI (Compose)
- Material Design and design systems in general
- Github actions for CI/CD

As a person you have passion for building great user experiences in application development. Curiosity and a high collaborative work style, a wish to share what you already know and jumping at the opportunity to dive into new technology and territory. You are keeping up with current and future trends in your field of work and sharing knowledge goes without saying for you!
