Software Engineer

WHO YOU ARE

The Operational intelligence team is currently recruiting a software engineer (Full Stack) to work on our Data Visualization service. AI Ops & Data Visualization is an area within operations intelligence which provide technology services related to Monitoring and Observability capabilities. You will get the opportunity to be part a world class Operations Intelligence capability that will be used by Product and Platform teams across IKEA. AI Ops & Data Visualization service provides custom Visualization, AI and automation capabilities based on our monitoring and observability tools.

REQUIREMENTS

We believe that you have an immense passion to code and are familiar with the below

You have strong experience with modern JavaScript skills (Node, React, Redux, Angular and ExpressJS) and are proficient in modern CSS practices

• You should have experience on building/exposing and consuming microservices such as REST or GraphQL
• You have familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and No-SQL databases from cloud providers.
• You have familiarity with and working experience in cloud technologies like GCP, AWS & Azure (GCP preferred)
• You should have experience or familiarity with tools JIRA, GitHub & Git Actions

As a person you are an engineer at heart and love to code. You have demonstrated working experience in some or all the skill sets listed above. You should have a DevOps mindset and have been working in an agile environment - delivering and supporting the products . Probably you have a strong hands-on experience with integrating with external systems and excellent verbal communication skills, good problem-solving skills & attention to detail

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will be working physically and/or virtually in fully empowered and agile teams. Together with other software & automation engineers, data engineers and engineering manager
• You will continuously build code sets that ensure optimized service offering based on the latest technologies and drive a competitive advantage for our consumers.
• You will work across a range of different systems with the purpose of providing custom visualization & visualization as a service for different teams with different needs.

Data Visualization is a small team consisting of around 5 people. We are quite autonomous, self-organizing and self-sufficient in many ways, which means part of our daily work is to define how we get things done together. We are based in Helsingborg.
