About this opportunity

We are now looking for a skilled test automation developer to join our passionate test organization. Our test teams are responsible for securing the software quality of Ericsson’s world-leading microwave mobile backhaul products. The main activities are requirement analysis, test case design, test, integration, product lifecycle management and documentation.

As part of the Ericsson Radio system, MINI-LINK is a powerful and cost-efficient network node fulfilling the requirements of the mobile broadband evolution, including 5G. You will have the opportunity to be innovative every day and broaden your skills to meet the fast pace of the telecom industry in an inspiring working environment.

You will be part of an organization that works with agile methodology in a multi-site and diverse verification team. Our Continuous Integration and Verification teams drive the quality assurance of the Network products from integration to test including early deployment in customer networks around the world.

What you will do

• Understand business requirements and can transform them into tests and test activities
• Create and maintain test automation using Java
• Perform automated and manual test execution and report test results
• Conduct product troubleshooting activities
• Initiate and drive improvements in ways of working and in our test product
• 
  

You will bring

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in programming languages - Java or Python
• Solid Unix/Linux knowledge
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

• Solid grasp in TCP/IP and routing (L2/L3)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools as Jenkins, Gerrit...
• Lean & Agile knowledge and skills
